    Re: Altec 802D 16 ohms

The new style 8 ohm 1" diaphragm is a 34647. The older style also did come with this part number too.

You probably have 34852s or 20275s installed at 16 ohm?

If you want original format ones, the 8 ohm was a 21597.

Keep in mind that if you do have an original part in your 802D, then it will have the older spade connectors, the new diaphragms have slide on ones. It means new lead wires.

Why can I rattle all of this off????

    Just done a mega swap around of 8 604Es, 4 802Gs and 2 902A diaphragms....

Talk about nervous concentration, especially when some of the diaphragms were 20275s, original 604 16 ohm, and 23744s, the magic 'light' 1" 8 ohms.
